Rs. 50, Rs. 20, Rs. 10, Rs. 5, Rs. 2, Re. 1. Coins issued are of Rs. 5, Rs. 2, Re. 1, 
50 paise, 25 paise, 20 paise, 10 paise, 5 paise denominations.

By Air: Goa is connected by Indian airlines & Alliance Air from Mumbai, Bangalore, Cochin, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai.
Private Airlines: Jet Airways, Modi Luft, Spanair & Sahara India Airlines operates flights between Goa & Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur & Pune.

By Rail: Goa has two major railway stations, Margao and Vasco-da-Gama. The South Central Railway and the Konkan Railway routes pass through Goa. The South Central Railway terminus is at Vasco-da-Gama while the terminus for the Konkan Railway (here the view is scenic as the rail link traverses hundreds of bridges en route to its destination during the overnight journey) is at Margao.
By Road: Goa is connected by good motorable roads with all the major towns in India via National Highways NH4, NH17, NH17A. Besides private buses, the state has its own bus service, the Kadamba Transport Corporation that plies to Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore. These buses are comfortable and have a dependable service.
Panaji is connected by road to the national highways. The distance from Mumbai is 594 km, Pune is 471 km and Bangalore is 632 km away.
